U2 - 360° Tour

As you know, we live in Ireland for a quite a long time and we always thought that our Irish adventure would be fulfilled when we get the chance to see a live concert from one the world's most successful Irish rock bands. It seems that we will get this chance this summer. Everybody knows them when talking about Irish music (not necessarily about traditional music). U2 just confirmed a stadium tour for this summer and their new gigan tic " 360° Tour " will arrive at Dublin's Croke Park on July 24 and July 25, 2009. You may think about front man, Bono, what you want but the history behind this group is simply amazing - no line up changes, no gossip, nothing - except a huge success with over 200 million albums sold and sold out tours. Two weeks ago, their highly anticipated new album "No Line On The Horizon" was released and enthroned on number 1 around the globe. Again, they prooved their status as Irish legends. Wie Ihr ja wisst leben wir nun schon eine We...

Jazzy Hip Hop live

Consider the jazzy sampling, laid-back tempos and boho-chic vibe he introduced, then mull over the bohemian posturing and sounds of the neo-soul movement, plus any rap music that shies away from hardcore posturing. All roads lead back to hip hop legend A Tribe Called Quest and the beats, rhymes and life of one man: Q–Tip . Caroline & Sebastian will see Q-Tip live with his full live band next Friday, 13 March 2009 at Dublin's Button Factory .

Short Budapest report

Here it comes with a bit delay-our short report about our trip to Budapest two weeks ago. Overall, it was a very cold but very beautiful St. Valentine's trip. We left Dublin on Friday (13.02.) afternoon with RyanAir, after 2hours and 45minutes flight we approached Hungary's capital. After the check-in and dinner at the hotel "Gellert", which is actually a massive complex not only featuring a hotel, more a hotel/spa complex, we decided to check out the area. Although it was already dark, we could enjoy the fresh air coming from the river Donau. In the morning of St. Valentine's day, we went swimming in the "Gellert Bath" before having breakfast. The rest of the day we spent sightseeing in this old city. There are plenty of monuments to discover, like the Gellert hill, the Parliament, cathedrals and much more. We have taken the sightseeing tour by bus and by boat. Also on Sunday we continued to discover the city. Apart from all these very impressive buildi...
